Welcome to The Market Gallery, located on the historic market in downtown Roanoke, Virginia at 23 Salem Avenue on the corner of Wall Street and Salem Ave (see map and directions below).
Our gallery is an artist member cooperative of twenty-six regional artists who exhibit paintings, drawings, assemblages, sculpture, serigraphs, photography, pottery, urban artifacts and other artforms. Click on ARTISTS to see representative images.

The Market Gallery is a member of Roanoke’s Art By Night. Over fifteen galleries near to downtown Roanoke stay open from 5-9 pm on the first Friday night of each month. Most area galleries have free copies of the recent brochure which includes a map, the days and hours each gallery is open and their web address. Light refreshments. http://www.roanokeartbynight.com

Hours of Operation:
Our hours of operation are from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. Free parking in the parking garages. Art By Night is the first Friday of the month and we will be open. Our gallery is wheelchair accessible and stroller-friendly.

Special Events
The Market Gallery welcomes Dan Henderson, photography, as our new member. Dan recently moved to the region from Holland Michigan.
